btc oak does not have user accounts, comments, ads, affiliate tracking, or a mailing list. The site is designed to be readable without logging in or giving up personal information.

Your theme preference may be saved in your browser using local storage so the site can open in the same light or dark mode next time. That value stays on your device.

Some pages can refresh the displayed BTC spot price in the browser by requesting Binance's public ticker endpoint. That request is made by your browser directly to Binance and is used only to show a fresher spot price in the page chrome.

If lightweight analytics are added later, this page will be updated before launch with the provider name and the exact data collected.
